COMFORTage: Secondary use of real-world data towards the research and development of scientific breakthroughs in the field of dementia
COMFORTage is a joint effort of medical experts, social scientists and humanists, technical experts, Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs) and Living Labs (LLs) to establish a pan European framework for Community-based, Integrated and People-Centric prevention, monitoring and progression managing solutions for dementia and frailty. This session will attempt to highlight the main innovations of the COMFORTage project, thus providing a look into the future of dementia and frailty care. Concepts such as citizen science, Living Labs, Digital Innovation Hubs, digital and health literacy, holistic health records, digital twins and AI will be presented. A panel discussion will follow to explore the opportunities and challenges for building an “Ageing-EHDS”, thus incorporating EHDS in dementia and frailty research.
